NMSU MFA student Yavette Michalak was accepted to the Aggies Go Global Program over the summer, to go abroad to Costa Rica from August 1 to the 9th with the NMSU ACES Department. She spent time visiting various locations like farms, corporate headquarters of food distributors, and IICA, the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture, to understand the agricultural infrastructure of Costa Rica and methods used within this infrastructure like sustainability.
